Sad to say but the only thing I can come up with is maybe that they're going to 100% user driven content. Like users suggest links and they just get posted. It seems like they have been cutting back for a while and doing that would cut out a blogger entirely...

But thats what I mean, Citizen is gone, we pretty much know its Molly from Pop, and Liberty is gone... so the next logical step would be make sure Molly is 100% on Pop since thats their money maker and just go to user links or something.

I don't know for sure that Liberty is gone, but there hasn't been a Liberty post in ages. Plus there are a few articles on the internet saying Brian had to let about 9 people go a few months ago. I'm thinking Liberty was one of them.

Lately important stories get little boxes or just the link. Then we see huge posts about a new dog in the whitehouse, Levi on the Tyra show, and other ridiculous "news stories".

I enjoy Citizen. I enjoy it more when there are real stories to talk about even if people do get snarky. I to will be sad if it turns into a spoof news site.

They haven't made a big announcement for other anonymous comments... I don't see why Citizen would.
