Did you do something extra special for your mom??

No, my parents are in Parris Island in S. Caroline. I just ordered her some things. We took my grandmother's out to lunch with the rest of the family and that was it.

How did you spend yours?

Oh, eating! LOL!
Well, I spent a lot of the day with my son, which was fabulous - he made me the cutest card, and was so proud of himself for writing everything on his own (he's 5, btw) Hubby gave me new dining room chairs and a $200 gift card to Nordstrom. It was a great day!

Aww how cute. I can't wait to have my own... well never mind. I can wait a little bit longer hehe. And Nordstrom! Let's go shopping! The office is closed today so I have time to kill

Our fiscal year ended on Friday and the new one doesn't start until tomorrow. So the office is closed. I can in to get some documents ready and to overlook all the new accounts in preparation to passing them out the project managers tomorrow.

and yes, I straightened it over the weekend for the company party that was last night.

Thanks Myst! I can tell you that I had a fantastic Mother's Day weekend!! Friday night I went out with some new friends, then spent the night at the hotel. Sat. I went shopping with my oldest daughter. Hubby then ran some errands and brought me home an early Mother's Day gift of 75 long stemmed roses! Sat. night I went out with my friend again (the wife of the couple I went out with Friday) to a local martini bar and listened to her friend who is the singer there (he was very good and I hope to go back soon). Oh yes and while I was out shopping with daughter on Sat. I bought myself 2 new bikinis for Mother's Day lol. Sunday we lounged around the pool all day, then watched movies that night. The younger three children all gave me hand made gifts that I loved. Oldest got me a gift bag from Bath & Body works with all sorts of goodies in it. It was a fun weekend and Sunday was a very relaxing day!
