Sy.. Autumn week= shopping week! I went to Seoul with one of friends during the weekend I'm itching to rock these boots I bought there. Just waiting to the weather to get a little cooler.

11Myst I can't wait to start wearing boots. I have a "date" on Monday (we get the Day off for Columbus Day) to switch out my summer clothes to winter clothes in my closet, which means the boots will be out! woo!!

Nothing really new, just love working at the orphanage. I just want to bring all of the
babies home with me and I'm seriously in love with this one little girl to the point that if things were different I'd take her now.

14Myst I've already brought my boots out! It's never too early for boots... well except maybe UGG boots in July.
15Dor you're right.. it is never too early. I'm rocking my mid calf ones, but these ones are nearly knee length and are meant for cold weather, otherwise you're have some sweaty feet
Martini. The orphanage is awesome. I go 3 days a week for now and teach English lessons. Last week was my first week starting. Most of the kids are abandoned mixed-raced babies, the majority being half black mixed ranging from 1 month to 15 yr olds.
16I've already broken out the boots and put the comforter on the bed. And I'm going shopping Saturday!

18hahaha i had to wear boots a few weeks ago! fall came early here. been sleeping with two down comforters for a while now. my apt is super-drafty so yeah, it's gonna be long fall/winter/spring.
glad a few of you also went WTF at the facebook thing. who in their right mind would do that?

20i live in wisconsin. fall is basically a roll of the dice here. this year it landed on cold and crazy windy.
21its 92 here today, and humid.
22gotta love Winter in Florida CG. you can still go outside in your shorts and flipflop
it's just now getting chilly for us. We're usually in the low 70s during the day and low 50s at night, which is fine for me.

28I'm just hoping we get a milder winter this year. Ontario got slaughtered last year and we never had a decent summer (non-stop rain) to make up for it.

My week is going well. My mom has been in town visiting. (She just left this morning.) And at work we are getting ready for an upcoming office move.
I'm also still working on decorating my new apartment everything is arranged/unpacked at this point, but I still need to hang pictures and the like!

My week was alright, but I'm ready for the weekend! I Helped my dad get ready for his art show this weekend....my bf adopted a dog from the shelter so we had to get the house ready since she's coming home today, yay!
And I'm going to a PJ party at my favorite winery on Saturday.

42Star it's gonna be so much fun.
It's not a huge winery, they do 4 or 5 events every
year, and so you get to know all of the wine club members and employees. The winemaker is a super cool guy. He knows pretty much all of the club members by name, and really takes care of
everyone.
43It's official. I'm jealous!
44Come to wine country and I'll give you a super fun tour!
45If I'm ever out that way, I'll count on it!
46And I don't mean a pretentious Napa Valley wine tour where you'll have to pay up to $20 just to taste incredibly overpriced wine and deal with snobs. I mean a super fun, amazingly good, and surprisingly inexpensive wine day!

48I live in neighboring Sonoma and it's a night and day difference. Napa has become completely touristy, and a lot of the wineries there are taking advantage of it. So the quality of wine goes down, prices (for bottles and tasting fees) go way up.
That's not to say that ALL wineries in Napa are crappy, but I've found better stuff in my area.
49As someone who's find her favorite wine and sticks to it, I'd love to go to a wine tasting someday. I need to try new wines instead of sticking to my stand-by.
