Working on my halloween costume (zombie bride)

Buying a costume for my niece (making sure she isnt too ho-ish for a 12 year old)

watching Gator vs LSU game tommorow at 8, hope they dont play Tebow.

I'm going shopping with my mom. The Sunday I'm going to be very, very lazy.

Grey dress pants, some bras, and some fall clothes. The pants and bras are what I'm searching for though.

im not a fan of bra shopping.

i was at the costume store and they had a slutty schoolgirl outfit for kids. i wanted to vomit.

I hate bra shopping too, but it has to be done. I can't run around without one.

What's the deal with kiddy costumes looking like they belong on adults?

star, I had to say no to about 10 costumes with fishnets and corsets last weekend.

Kids do not need to be in fishnets and corsets. I used to dress up as a ghost... it was called a white sheet over my head. Geez.

I loooove bra shopping! Well, I have loved bra shopping.

I went to Nordstroms and did a bra fitting and I didn't have to do anything but sit in a luxurious robe, waiting for them to bring me bras! That's the way to do it -- and then you can write down the bra styles and look for them online.

I feel guilty too, Haus. What I did last time was buy 2 of the bras at the store, and then ordered 3 more online... so it wasn't quite so bad!

I will be studying/doing homework, watching the Buckeyes and other football, and then going apple picking on Sunday or Monday. Then I have Monday off work.

It's the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so I'll be eating turkey! Lots and lots of turkey

Me too CG... I find white meat too dry. My mouth is starting to water now thinking about turkey dinner. I love love love stuffing, mashed potatoes, and corn.

I love the creamed onions and spinach.

im a white meat only kinda gal! do you brine your turkey? that helps with the dryness.

I dont brine, but then again I dont ever make the turkey.

I bring the Sweet potato biscuits, and the sweet and sour cabbage.

i've brined the last few years and i do think it makes it more juicy.

Let's see...today I'm puppysitting.
Tomorrow is the PJ party at my favorite winery.
Sunday is softball and possibly the pumpkin patch with my pseudo-niece.

My mom does the turkey so I have no idea what happens. Some stores already have Christmas decorations out. I was in Michaels last night looking for magnets and I had to fight to find them through a mixture of Santas and pumpkins. We don't actually put up our decorations until December 1st.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I can't wait for the American one. I'm hosting it in Chicago this year and my whole family is coming. I get to do all the cooking. So excited!

Also, I feel like it's (finally) fall because my mom saw the wild turkeys for the first time this year! My parents have wild turkeys in their yard for a couple of months every fall. This morning, my mom saw about 20 of them!

It's one of the perks to working in government in D.C., amy. We have every day off that the federal government does!

I love three day weekends.
