I've been sick like a dog all week. If I didn't know better I'd swear I'd have that forsaken swine flu crap.
But there is a joy to the racking coughs and stuffy nose.
We have another new member to our growing family
Ladies... meet Midnight (I didn't name him haha). I had to bring the babies to the vet, and this little darling walked right up to me, settle on my feet and the rest was history. And the best thing is, Sunshine, the ultimate cat hater, didn't try to maim and kill him. He actually tolerates him presence which is a damn miracle.

Awww. What a sweetie!
1AAAAAH! Myst - what an adorable cat! I love black cats so much. Sorry you have been sick. I was wondering what I hadn't seen you around.
2.... wondering WHY I hadn't seen you around. Sorrs
3yeah amy..we had babysitting duty last week and my niece gave me her cold so it's pretty much been lights out for me plus I know the time changed over there and I'm actually going to bed at a reasonable time these days so I don't come online very much.
4awww so cute reminds me of Hubby's old cat.
5love him!
6he is so CUTE! Congrats!
7So cute! Midnight and Sunshine... great names. But I am partial to black cats, you know.
8cuteness, how old is he?
9Cute! I'm so jealous of people with friendly cats. Mine's kind of a dud.
10A dud cat?
11She's just kind of cranky. I just don't get much satisfaction from her as a pet owner.
12It's a cat's prerogative to be cranky. And pissy. And moody. At least that's what I tell myself when mine ignores me.
13I recently heard a really long interview with some kind of animal expert on my local NPR station and she explained that cats are much, much less domesticated than dogs and very similar to animals that live in the wild. They don't have the ability to read human facial expressions like dogs do, things like that. It made a lot of sense.
14I believe that. Especially when my cat runs around like a crazed animal. But when I was sick two months ago and has surgery, she wouldn't leave my side either. They may not be as domesticated as dogs, but I think they have pretty astute senses.
15Thanks gals!
CG he's about 8 or 9 months old.
TS don't feel bad, my Sunshine isn't the biggest people-cat person either. He normally ignore us unless he wants somethings or actually wants to be cuddled. But I agree with Star. My Sunshine is always extremely affectionate whenever I come back from out of town or when I'm sick and that's when he'll act like my shadow and go everywhere I go.
16Adorable! Congratulations on your new addition, and hope you feel better!
17Congrats!
One of my favorites types of kitties! Black cats, Siamese, Tabby, and Turkish Van's
