Bought this book on Friday while going to a weekend trip and I finished it last night.
I saw this movie a few months ago and to be honest, I didn't quite like it. Ok I hated April, Kate Winslet's character. I thought she was selfish and honestly halfway through the movie I wanted to jump in the screen and smack some sense into her. But I felt compelled to get the book just so see how true the movie was to it.
The movie was pretty faithful to the book, some differences here and there.
All and all, I enjoyed the book more. While the movie was better visually and gave a sense of how the characters live, the book gave a more in depth sense of the characters and was totally worth it.
True Religion
I'm actually bringing this book with me when I go out of town this week! Yay!
1So glad to hear that Haus. It thought it was a pretty good book and enjoyed it way more than the movie. Even though I still hate some of the characters I got a better perspective on them.

2Life is short. Enjoy it while you can.
I was really excited to see the movie and it kind of disappointed me. I think I would have liked it a lot more had I not gone in expecting so much.
I have the book, but I haven't had the chance to read it yet.
3Im really excited for the Time Traveler's Wife movie to come out in August but I think its going to let me down.
4I know how you feel Kim. I was stoked to see Leo and Kate even, even though I didn't like Titanic and have never been able to watch the whole thing, but the two of them was always just and I loved the concept of the movie from the reviews. To say I was disappointed is a huge understatement. Their acting was spectacular but the movie itself just disappointed me.
