So here's the deal. I am procrastinating (putting off studying for finals), bored, and majorly craving chocolate chip cookies. So I thought I'd see what you all like ... maybe get some good ideas for new sweets to try!!
I love: chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, chocolate cake, my mom's homemade ice cream, my grandmother's homemade peanut brittle, brownies, and the list goes on and on. I don't like pie though
Here is a tip for you for really good gooey brownies - make according to directions but add 1 tablespoon of syrup (can be regular or clear - Karo syrup). Bake according to directions. It makes super good gooey brownies 
.... now I am really craving some sort of sweets!! ... Off to see what I can scrounge up

My mom just sent me a chocolate chip cookie recipe that she says has been sweeping the local population:
INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Combine the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- Mix the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, pudding mix, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the eggs and mix well. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and the chopped nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 1 inch apart.
- Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
As for me, I'm a cupcake gal, but I do love espresso brownies!!

Haus, it's just like Red Velvet cake, instead used with blue food coloring. It's so good and my friend's mom makes the best one.
6Oh and I don't think I mentioned, but I love me some blueberry muffins!! I just recently tried them for the first time (I'm 22 lol) and I love them!!
7I'll have your pie blue! I LOVE pie! One of my best friend's just did a bunch of fruit pies at her wedding instead of a cake. I loved it!

It's from a Toronto-based advice show (think Oprah, but on a smaller scale). The cupcakes are ridiculously yummy!

13Ok, I tried these cookies my friend made. It's a twist on the classic. Make the cookie batter like the package, or off the chip package, and add craisins or some other dried fruit. She also added about 1/2 a cup of oatmeal and man, these things were so awesome I started making them at home.
