The discussion of family guy over in Citizen 4.0 got me thinking about adult-oriented cartoons. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for The Simpsons and I occasionally enjoy an episode of Family Guy, as well. I have never been a fan of Southpark (or any other adult cartoon, for that matter.) Anyway, I was just curious. What's your favorite cartoon that's made for adults? The Simpsons? Family Guy? Southpark? Something else, like Futurama or American Dad?
(Oh, and just to clarify, I'm thinking of cartoons that are made for adults as opposed to cartoons made for children that still have some adult jokes, like Pixar movies.)

Also, on a side note, why does Sugar, Inc. insist on making me have poor grammar? No matter how many times I try, it won't let me capitalize Family Guy in the tags.
1Family Guy never fails to crack me up. Hands down favorite.
South Park is hit or miss with me. It isn't always funny and I find the earlier seasons to be the best.
Simpsons seems to be fading although the movie was hilarious. I used to never miss an episode when I was younger. It was a big deal to watch the Simpsons every Sunday night. I knew all the episodes backwards and forwards because I would watch the reruns each and everyday.
American Dad is often funny but I just can't get into it. I will watch it if it is on, but I won't seek it out.
Futurama is really funny. Whenever I catch reruns, I enjoy them.
2It's Family guy for me. There are moments of that show that make me laugh so much that I watch them on repeat.
3Family Guy has to be the funniest, hands down. Talking, sarcastic baby and intelligent, snarky dog, what's not to love?
4I do like Family Guy, but The Simpson edges it out for me. I think it might be the sentimental factor. (Yes, I get sentimental about tv shows.)

I grew up watching The Simpsons and they will always have a special
place in my heart... especially the X-Files crossover 
14"American Dad!" is my favorite (Roger, the alien, totally cracks me up.)...but I also love in order "South Park" (even though I haven't seen it forever), "King of the Hill", "The Simpsons", and "Family Guy".
15Futurama (have all seasons on DVD... nerd alert!) and then the Simpsons.
I like Family Guy alright, but sometimes I feel really rotten when I watch it!

17Haus, that is a wonderful question. Generally, I don't mind a little violence or the type of humor that Family Guy employs. But when I watch Family Guy, a part of me feels like the devil! I know that it makes absolutely no sense and is contradictory to many of the things I like.
